This programme is designed for those who want to seek employment in a food and beverage outlet, from being a waiter, barista, banquet supervisor, catering executive, restaurant manager, etc.


Course Modules

From service techniques to the dos & don’ts; students will learn to serve with a personalized Malaysian touch, making guests feel comfortable and respected. With the variety of utensils & equipment made available, trainees will get the industrial feel of using special equipment & utensils before, during & after service 

From a personal to an environmental level, students will be thoroughly trained on cleaning & safety measures that will ensure a more friendly & pleasant level of service and working environment.

This subject introduces the concept of preparing and serving  beverages in its authentic manner. In learning about the variety of beverages, students will be trained in the following: mis-en plas of bar, metric pouring, wine pouring, cocktail mixing and special serving methods for special cocktails. 

This course will improve applicant oral and written communication so students can prepare for further study or work. Applicant also improves their reading and listening ability besides computer skills and develop an understanding of Malaysian culture to help students live and work in the community.
